Penny's Worth has grown and developed into a comprehensive training and mentoring company, helping small businesses to realise their dreams, independence and wealth. Penny's Worth works in partnership with clients, empowering them to get the best from their resources and developing their bottom line.

Penny Smith
Penny has many years experience in the Education Industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics from Auckland University is a past secondary school teacher and qualified librarian. Penny has run her own business for the past 7 years and previously ran her own small business for 5 years in the 1990s. Penny currently tutors the Certificate in Small Business Management programme and trains MYOB and Xero business accounting systems working with small businesses one on one to ensure they understand their systems and how to make them perform to their best.

Penny brings her professional knowledge and business experience to the business arena fulfilling the promise of Penny's Worth,  “Sharing knowledge- creating independence”

Bill O’Meara
Bill has over 20 years experience performing many roles in both Corporate and Small to medium enterprises as well as owning and operating an importing and distribution company. Beside Importing/exporting he has experience in Staff Training, Sales Management, Marketing and small business set-ups. Bill currently tutors the Certificate in Small Business Management programme.

Julie Russell
Julie runs a small business on Auckland’s North Shore. She has extensive experience in office administration and professional qualifications in Bookkeeping obtained in the UK, where she worked for several years. These days she helps clients manage their office administration, including MYOB processing & training. Julie has now added Xero business accounting to her skill set, and is looking forward to working with a new group of clients needing help and support.

Catherine Field
Catherine is currently based in Christchurch and frequently commutes to Auckland. She has for the last 14 years worked with corporate and small businesses throughout all parts of New Zealand. Her experience in IT Software support and training, accountancy, and operational management has now been supplemented by the addition of Xero business accounting. Catherine is passionate about empowering people to know that they have the skills and knowledge to manage their businesses independently.
